ARPANSA's 2011-12 annual report highlights base station RF measurements
In their annual report the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) says they have continued their limited, but important, program to monitor public exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic energy (RF EME) with measurements of exposure levels from mobile telephone base stations and comparisons with the EME predictions made by industry in accordance with ARPANSA guidelines.
Commenting on the base station audit results, the ARPANSA Annual Report states
"Public exposure levels from mobile phone base stations are typically hundreds of times below current exposure limits"
