can mobile phones halt alzheimer's?
Chatting on a mobile phone could help reduce the risk of suffering Alzheimer’s disease – or even cure it – a study claims. However, an NHS review says the study’s direct relevance to humans is limited.
GSMA Comment: There is a large body of cellular, animal and human research showing no effect of mobile phone signals on brain function. This study used a relatively small number of animals in the test groups and needs independent confirmation by other researchers before conclusions can be drawn about possible relevance for people. The researchers themselves caution about extrapolating from this mouse study to humans.
