EMF - Headaches and other symptoms L2
Overview
Expert Panel Conclusions
There has been a lot of research conducted worldwide to investigate possible health effects from radio signals, including potential for headaches and other symptoms from mobile phones, and other wireless devices.
In relation to radio frequency exposures and health, the general conclusion from the World Health Organization (WHO) is;
“Despite extensive research, to date there is no evidence to conclude that exposure to low level electromagnetic fields is harmful to human health”

Other expert panels have also given their conclusions on so called electromagnetic hypersensitivity
The EU Commission SCENIHR 2007 review states;
”the symptoms attributed to ELF and RF fields are similar and in many cases the afflicted subjects report both ELF and RF fields to trigger symptoms. There are more studies on self-reported symptoms and exposure to ELF fields, but also in this case the scientific studies have failed to confirm a causal relationship"
SCENIHR 2007 review
The Health Council of the Netherlands 2005 Annual Update on EMF states;
“There are no scientific grounds at present for supposing that physical complaints can be directly caused by exposure to EM fields. The Committee has already stated in previous advisory reports that further research is desirable in this area. These complaints assume serious proportions in some people who currently have such complaints. Provocation studies could be performed in particular with those people to investigate a possible causal connection with EM exposure. Exposure to a wide frequency range should be studied, as well as possible effects of different forms of modulation, since the experiences of people with complaints suggest that not everyone is sensitive to the same types of EM fields.”
